Radiohacktive is participating in global distributed computing projects with the help of BOINC. BOINC is a cross-platform tool which allows users to complete bite-sized tasks for big data projects. These run in the background, putting otherwise-idle processors to work solving problems in mathematics, science, and medicine.

Asteroids@Home uses BOINC to distribute tasks to calculate astrophysical parameters of known asteroids.

World Community Grid

The World Community Grid (WCG) cycles through projects in medical and environmental monitoring applications. WCG uses BOINC to distribute tasks ranging from mapping cancer markers to simulating rainfall events in sub-Saharan Africa.
